Benefits of Wood in Our Lives

When considering the purchase of new furniture there is one important factor we would like to draw your attention to, which unfortunately is often not considered at all.

It is the impact all the items we put in our surroundings have on Us.

It may sound ridiculous, especially this days, but all the artificial / human made or processed materials such as all plastic or synthetic may have an adverse impact on human wellbeing not only when swallowed.

On the other hand, all natural materials do have a very beneficial impact on human wellbeing.

Stop and think – what percentage of our lifetime do we spend at home, seating on sofa surrounded by our furniture, including the sleep at night?

Would you like to improve your general wellbeing?

Let’s see what opinions and research

we can find on this topic.

“… In recent years, there has been a growing debate about the use of wood as a construction material based on its low carbon footprint and sustainable properties. Additionally, technological advances on engineered wood products now allow the construction of buildings in an unprecedented scale. Another aspect that is a relatively new and perhaps not so well known refers to the benefits to human health related to the presence of wood in indoor environments. Studies have found a correlation between the presence of wood and both physiological and psychological improvement states. …”

Summary of the physiological effects of stimulation by
wood and wooden materials

This review has described scientific reports that elucidated the

physiological effects of wood-derived stimulation. Throughout,
these reports showed that olfactory, visual, tactile, and auditory
stimulation involving wood-derived materials induced
physiological relaxation such as reduction of brain
activity, enhancement of parasympathetic nervous activity,
and inhibition of sympathetic nervous activity,
as well as decreased blood pressure, heart rate, and
stress hormone level.

We dare to say

there is the

most natural

wood in our

furniture

comparing to

our

competition.
